Evolution by Editor22
Project log: Here
We like our pretty renders here at
bit-tech. However it's even more enjoyable seeing them come to life and Evolution is doing this in spectacular fashion. Editor22 started the project in January but has already made some significant headway despite this being a fairly involved scratchbuild.
In fact, if things continue as they are, Evolution will look even better than the early render in Editor22's project log with mean-looking lighting and subtle glowing effects already plentiful along with sleek lines in the case design itself.
Below we can see the initial render which shows a minimalist design with a Laing DDC pump mounted at the front with the outlet pointing straight down to the bottom chamber of the case, presumably where a radiator will be positioned.
What looks like an EK Multioption reservoir lingers between the pump and motherboard but there's still plenty of space that's on show hints at a pretty large system. We can also see the frame of the case well under way with the two sections already apparent.
As part of the mid-section, Editor22 placed a piece of florescent blue acrylic which we can see glowing nicely in later images. The bottom section also has what looks like its own perspex side panel with a neat side cut out for the radiator fans.
The metalwork inside the case is impressive too - this looks like it's some sort of cage for the 5.25in drive bays. Here's a close up of the pump installed in the front of the case with some funky lighting.
Finally here's a snapshot of the case as it stood recently. We're loving the UV effect on the acrylic sheet - this should look great once the case dons its black colour scheme and has some more hardware inside. The EK reservoir is test fitted too with a close link to the pump and pretty much as it appears in the render - should look good with some dark blue coolant!
